  • A really pretty park only cycled around the lake didn't have time to stop and take in the sights. Really close to bangkok, easy to get to by small boat. Lovely lakes and green space, worth a visit if your in Bangkok for a while.
  • Awesome place to relax just a short boat ride and bike ride from Along Toei Pier. Well worth the effort to get away from the busy city for a while
  • Highly recommended! My partner and I took a train, walked to Wat Bang Na Nok pier and took a boat over for 4baht each ( there are a couple of other piers you can take I believe but this worked well for us).After crossing we hired bikes for 50baht each for the whole day. Don't go with the first bike rental place you see when you arrive, instead turn right, go around the corner and about 20metres ahead on your left is a another place to rent from. This guy was fantastic to deal with, we wished we had tipped him! He gives you a map, two water bottles before you ride. On your return he gives you a packet of face/hand wipes and a coconut to drink from. Very refreshing after a long ride!\

  • Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden is a real green gem south of Bangkok where the Chao Phraya River forms a kind of peninsula. The place isn't that easy to reach without own transportation but it's worth to make this effort to be in the middle of the nature and at same time not far away from bustling Bangkok. You can rent bikes close-by which is great to explore the vast area. Or you simple enjoy the walk as trees provides over the most distance sufficient shadow. This park isn't spoilt from the crowds and so it's great to relax from the busy city vibe. It's mainly popular with locals as tourist hardly make all the way from the city center. At entrance you'll find sufficient parking lots and some food stalls to buy some refreshments. It's also a great location for jogging or roller-skating. A place we like to enjoy during weekend.

The Best Place to breathe a comfortable air!!             Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden is located in Bang Kachao Sub-District, Samut Prakan Province with an area over 200 Rai. How to get there??? Bang Kachao, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan 10130 It is relatively simple to get there, provided you have a taxi driver who has a vague knowledge of Bangkok  Step 1: Catch the MRT to  Klong Toei . Step 2: Get a taxi to  Klong Toei Pier Step 3: At the pier you will see a gateway, the entrance into the  Wat Klong Toei  complex. Walk along this narrow road and after about 200m (a random guess) you will see the river and a small pier. From here, you can catch a long-tail boat for 5 baht.
